J.F. Price provides heavy equipment electrical repair and troubleshooting for trucks, trailers, construction equipment, snow equipment, and other working fleet vehicles. Electrical issues can be frustrating because they often show up as intermittent problems and attachments along with their electrical system and the harsh conditions that working equipment operates in every day.
J.F. Price provides mechanical repair and maintenance services for commercial trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and working fleet vehicles. Our mechanics are experienced with the knowledge and the tools to keep equipment safe, reliable, and productive. From oil changes to brakes to mobile on site repairs our team is here to keep you moving with dependable service.
Because J.F. Price operates its own trucks, excavation equipment, recycling services, snow removal equipment, and commercial vehicle inspection services, we understand how important it is to reduce downtime and make repairs that hold up under real job-site conditions.
J.F. Price provides hydraulic hose repair services for commercial trucks, trailers, dump bodies, heavy equipment, snow equipment, and other working fleet vehicles. A failed hydraulic hose can stop a truck, loader, plow, lift, trailer, or piece of job-site equipment at the worst possible time, so our goal is to help identify the problem and make practical repairs that get equipment back to work safely and efficiently. Hydraulic hose issues may involve worn or leaking hoses, damaged fittings, failed connections, pressure loss, equipment that will not lift or operate correctly, or components affected by age, abrasion, weather, vibration, and heavy daily use.
Massachusetts registered single, full, or semi-trailers used in commerce, that have a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) over 3,000 pounds or commercial vehicle/trailer combinations with a gross combined weight rating (GCVWR) of over 10,000 pounds are subject to this requirement, as are all heavy duty motor vehicles (over 10,000 pounds GVWR) and converter dollies. Trailers and converter dollies in use after January 1, 2009 must be in compliance with this new inspection.
Commercial vehicles, trailers and converter dollies are subject to the Massachusetts Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspection. This inspection is the equivalent to the annual Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) inspection (known as a “DOT inspection”). When your vehicle/trailer receives a state safety inspection beginning October 1, 2008, you will not be required to obtain a separate annual “DOT” inspection.
J.F. Price provides welding and metal repair services for commercial trucks, trailers, dump bodies, heavy equipment, and working fleet vehicles.
